FAQ'S

How do I consign?

Simply give us a call or come by the store to arrange an appointment with one of our appraisers. The appraiser will evaulate your item to determine fair market value. Once the item is approved, we complete a Consignment Agreement and schedule a time for pickup or delivery.

What percentage will I make?

Upon sell of all items, you will receive 50% of the final selling price. Items are displayed on our website and in our showroom for 90 days. If the item has not sold, we notify you and allow up to seven days for pick-up or re-delivery to your home.

Do you negotiate prices?

Our agreed upon prices are not negotiable. Your items will be marked at a price that is fair to both you and the buyer.

What items will you accept?

We accept furniture pieces and accessories that have been gently used. Furniture and accessories must be "show room ready" at time of acceptance.

Why should I consign?

We eliminate the hassle of selling the items yourself. We can save you the costs of advertising by featuring your items on our website and in our showroom. We can offer purchasers the option of using major credit cards, which broadens your number of potential buyers. We also save you the trouble of picking up and delivery by offering our optional services.

Interested in consigning with us?

The first step is to take pictures of the items you would like to consign and send them to our email account: sales@carolinaconsignmentllc.com.

*Please include any additional information known about the pieces, such as how much you paid for it, the condition, and the manufacturer

We will try to review your items and make a decision within the week. We will then contact you to arrange a time to drop off your items or if you have larger items, we offer a pick up service. There is a fee for pick up which is determined on your distance for the store and the quantity of items.

We ask all of our consignors to sign a consignment agreement, which you can find attached at the bottom. Once an item has sold, it is a 50/50 split. Because we have so many consignors, checks are written only after all your items have been sold, or your account has been closed. We contract items for 90 days. At the end of the 90 days, if items have not sold, we will contact you to return your items or to discuss reducing the price.

*If you plan on bringing items by the store, please bring a signed copy of the consignor agreement.
